Not only will Buddy Beacon on iPhone make you the coolest kid on the block, but it's absolutely free. And you can get Buddy Beacon on your iPhone in just a few easy steps. Once you've completed this process, you won't have to go through it again - we promise!

Here's how to get rolling:

1. Open Safari on your iPhone and browse to where.com/bb.
2. Click the link for the Web Application.
3. Note the four-digit registration code.
4. Return to the home screen and click "SMS."
5. Send the four-digit code to 94373 (or just type "WHERE").
6. Return to Safari; it will automatically sign you into Buddy Beacon.

Now that you're a Buddy Beacon user, it’s time to invite friends. Click "Invite Friends" and enter a friend's email address or phone number to connect.

What's Buddy Beacon?

Buddy Beacon is the largest mobile friend-finding network. This application - accessible via your iPhone or Facebook account - lets friends show each other where they are and what they're doing. Connecting when you're on the go has never been easier.

Want to see who's up for some fun? Update your Buddy Beacon location and spread the word. Prefer to just chill? Don't bother making any updates. And remember: Buddy Beacon only updates your location when you ask it to.

How Does Buddy Beacon Work?

Buddy Beacon offers two ways to determine where you are: 1) let the GPS in your phone take care of it, or 2) designate a nearby place (e.g. bar, store) as your location. Then, scan a map to see which friends are nearby, or visit your Buddy List to check on the location of a specific friend.
