How do I register to leave reviews, write on WHERE Connect, and receive exclusive WHERE updates?
The easiest way is to click on the “i” icon in the top right of the WHERE homepage to get you to the settings menu. Then, once in Settings, select the option to register with WHERE.
You can also register through WHERE Connect, the Sports Wall and WHERE Reviews. The first time you select the option to write a comment or leave a review you will be prompted to register with WHERE. It’s a great way to make sure you always know what’s going on in WHERE – so we can help you find out what’s going on around you!
How do I edit my username or password?Within the “Settings” menu option (accessed by clicking on the “i” in the top right of your homepage) you can change both your username and your password. You can also update this information through our Website www.where.com/local (see instructions here)
How do I update my location?While on your homepage, click on the option in the bottom right titled “Change.” You can then click “Current Location” and your location will re-set if it has changed. You can also enter your location manually at this point.
Can I use WHERE to share information with friends?Yes! While viewing the detail page for a particular location or business click on the icon displaying an arrow in the bottom right of your screen. This will give you many options, including “share.” You can also find the “share” option when viewing places on a WHERE map. Just click on a location’s information bubble on the map. The “Share” option links directly to email.
How do I write a review of a location or business?Simply tap the speech bubble at the top of each detail page (next to the “Map” link) to leave your own review.
Can I correct information about a business or restaurant?Yes. On each locations’ detail page there is an option to “report as wrong.”
Can I reorder the icons on WHERE?Yes! Click on the icon you want to move. Hold the icon and drag and drop it into its new home. Click “Done” in the top right of the screen when you’re happy with the order of your icons.
How do I add a location to my Placebook?While viewing the detail page for a particular business click on the icon displaying an arrow in the bottom right of your screen. This will give you the option to “save to my places” (which is stored in Placebook). When you check-in to a location you also have the opportunity to add that location to your Placebook.
What is my Dashboard and how do I get to it?When viewing the WHERE homepage, click on the button with horizontal lines in the top left of the screen. This will show you your Dashboard – a quick look at the features you use most often. Your Dashboard is customizable and shows you top content such as weather and news.
