Happy Wednesday my friends, this week, for our WHERE Widget of the Week I’m picking one that was spoken about on Monday, and for good reason.

This week, ZipCar gets our WHERE Widget of the Week status just because it’s so darn helpful for all you mobile warriors that can’t stop traveling.  Basically, ZipCar is a “car sharing service, offering self service, on demand car by the hour or the day. Zipcar has 3,000 cars available in 23 cities across the United States.”  Not bad folks, not bad at all.  The great thing is, the Zipcar widget allows members to find the nearest Zipcars on their mobile phone as well as instantly connect to Zipcar’s reservation system to select a nearby vehicle.   Yeah, find the car AND reserve it, all on your phone, and all automatically.

Sure makes the ol’ run around searching for a Hertz or Enterprise a heck of a lot more archaic doesn’t it?  Welcome to the future folks.
